Fans of One Direction member Liam Payne might remember some controversial photos of the 'Story of My Life' singer making the rounds on Twitter this week. In celebration of Zayn Malik's birthday, Liam stood on the edge of a building in his own way of honoring his bandmate. People didn't exactly like how his photos came off and some fans even got scared so Liam decided to apologize for them on Twitter.
The photo(s) in question were originally posted on the popular social networking website, but have since been taken down.
The 20-year-old tweeted: "You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken.
"It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous."
But not to stay too serious on his Twitter account, Payne ended his apology on a high note, adding: "Worse things have happened, I'm sure we'll be fine."
He included a winking face emoticon as well.
Though he was most recently apologizing on Twitter, his most recent lengthy tweeting involved a bit of a rant aimed towards his fans.
"I know my friends have tweeted a lot of pictures of my house the past few days but can people please stop coming and waiting outside," he wrote. "I'd just like to be able to walk outside as everyone does and enjoy time with my friends, not feel bad for not wanting to take a picture."
He added: "Sorry if I've been rude to anyone but I've come to realize if I take one picture more people keep coming everyday xxx hope everyone's good."
