Kate Gosselin probably isn't too proud of her 13-year-old twin daughters Cara and Mady right about now...
The infamous "Jon & Kate Plus 8" reality TV mom and the girls appeared on Thursday morning's episode of the "Today Show" to speak with host Savannah Guthrie. Obviously, the two teenagers were supposed to talk about how growing up on the TLC network with six younger siblings didn't really affect their lives... well, that didn't happen!
When Guthrie asks if the twins are really doing okay today, both basically refuse to answer. That's when Ms. Gosselin chimes in with, "Your words... It's your chance, spit it out!" And things just keep getting more awkward from there:

Gosselin eventually says, “I don’t want to speak for them but, Mady, go ahead. Sort of the things that you said in [People] magazine, that years later they’re good, they’re fine. Go for it, it’s your chance.”
Mady's response - "No... You just said it."
Take that, mom.
The girls talk a little bit, but basically mama Gosselin takes over the show. According to her, the girls are "tongue-tied."
Maybe the girls were camera shy... but considering they basically grew up on TV, that wouldn't make much sense.
Later on in the interview, Mady does reveal she's interested in doing another reality series (Cara remains silent, but nods her head too). So maybe Gosselin still has some hope.
Wonder what ex-hubby Jon must think?
