Reports confirm that following Luke Bryan's concert at Ohio State University in Columbus on Thursday evening (January 16), the stage collapsed, resulting in several crew members being rushed to the hospital for injuries.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that a forklift crashed into the stage while workers were dissembling the concert setup early Friday morning at Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center. The entire structure crumbled due to the impact. Allegedly four individuals (including members of the country star's crew and arena staff) were rushed to a nearby hospital to treat injuries. Their medical statuses still remain unknown.

The popular "Drink a Beer" crooner was set to continue his "That's My Kind of Night" tour with a sold-out show in Lexington, Kentucky  on Friday (January 17). Obviously that show has been rescheduled for sometime in February because of stage issues.

Bryan recently tweeted:

‏@LukeBryanOnline: "Lexington, KY concert is POSTPONED for TONIGHT. It is RESCHEDULED for FRI., FEB. 21."

He also provided a link to his official website which offered this statement:

Cleveland, Ohio (January  17, 2014)  -- Tonight's Luke Bryan concert in Lexington, Kentucky will be rescheduled for Friday, February 21 due to damage sustained to a piece of the stage during production load out after last night's show in Columbus, Ohio. The damage occurred after the show had ended and no fans were in the building.  The tour's team will make the necessary repairs to the production elements so the tour may continue.

Previously purchased tickets for Lexington, Kentucky will be honored for the reschedule date on Friday, February 21st .

Here's to hoping for a quick recovery for those injured in the freak accident.
