Singer Madonna gets twitter attacked for calling her adopted son, Rocco the N-word on Instagram. The megastar posted a photo of her son boxing training with a caption on Instagram page that stirred up a racial uproar on social media.
"No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disni-a." Madonna wrote.
Once infuriated fans read the caption, Madonna fired back, "Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d-k haters!"
Later, the singer received the backlash and posted an apology justifying her post saying, "I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur.. I am not a racist. There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention... It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me."
@neon_june tweeted, "Madonna f**ked Big Daddy Kane AND Pac, she can hashtag "dis ni**a" if she wants to."
@kerneil tweeted, "For Madonna to be around during slavery days and still think it's ok to say "ni**a" is very disappointing."
@MajesticBrotha tweeted, "Madonna we know you're not a racist but don't play like you didn't know better than to use the word Ni**a online.BlackTwitter #WhiteTwitter"
@jimmyyadig tweeted, "Madonna tried to justify the usage of the word ni**a by stating that she seen it as a term of endearment LOL who is she trying to endear?"
@hoeFOH tweeted, Madonna been around since slavery there's no way in hell I'm letting her get away with saying 'ni**a'"
@misteratlanta tweeted, "Paula Deen might have said ni**a 30 years ago and y'all destroyed her career. Madonna said it yesterday and all is forgiven. Really? Ok."
