'Home Alone' star Macaulay Culkin's dad Kit Culkin hospitalized for massive stroke, wanted to work things out with son before health scare

If you were a fan of Home Alone as a kid, then you know that Macaulay Culkin was that dude.

MStars is learning the details of the former child star's dad condition. TMZ has reported that Culkin's estranged father Kit Culkin has suffered a massive stroke at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon Tuesday.

The gossip site is revealing that a family source said Kit is in very bad condition. EMTs were on the scene of the emergency call around 1 p.m. Tuesday, where Kit was then taken to a nearby hospital and now remains in intensive care.

Kit who is 69, has apparently lost all of his motor skills and the outcome of recovery is very slim. Sources also reveal that the family has been called to the hospital.

Macaulay, 33 famously made headlines in the past when he and his father got into an public feud over money.

MStars has also learned that Kit wanted to rekindle things with his estranged son, according to a family source.

Time may have run out for the father and son to reconnect, because Kit is now fighting for his life.

The father and son loss touch back in the 90s during an ugly custody battle with Macaulay's mother.

TMZ claims that Kit was trying to get Macaulay's number, as family members tried to step in and pass the word along to Macualay, but the reunion never happened.  

Macaulay is currently traveling with his band, and the site reveals that the Home Alone actor has been out of touch with most of the family.

MStars hopes that Macaulay gets to make the trip to the hospital to grant his father's wish, before it's too late.
