American Idol Runner Up In Talks Of Joining Glee?

Along with the building excitement that has been surrounding the upcoming fourth season of 'Glee,' there are rumours that one of the finalists in the recent 'American Idol' will soon join the cast of characters this coming fall.

According to TV Line, the 16-year-old first runner up in the recent season of 'American Idol,' Jessica Sanchez, is already close to confirming if she will join the 'Glee' cast for a couple of episodes.

There is still news on what kind of role she is set to play, or if she will be seen as part of the New Directions group under Mr. Schu. The singer can also be part of the group's competitor team.

If this is true, then Sanchez will not be seen in the show until the season four comes into its halfway phase. This is all due to Sanchez's previous commitments of being on the 'American Idol' road tour. Once Sanchez confirms her participation in the show, she will be included in the list of popular celebrity and artist stars of 'Glee' like Gwyneth Paltrow, Charice, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Neil Patrick Harris.

Jessica Sanchez Works Hard On Upcoming Album

This petite 'American Idol' runner up has a lot of responsibilities to handle on her plate aside from singing on the 'Idol' tour and the much talked about stint over at 'Glee.' To add to this, she is working doubly hard on her very first album as a solo artist which she looks forward to project a much urban genre of a sound.

Sanchez said in her most recent MTV News interview that she won't allow her very first album to have songs which people would just dictate for her to sing. She wants it to end up as something that she can say is totally hers.

It may even surprise others who will discover how much the young singer loves Eminem and the way the white rapper writes music. The 'American Idol' singer just could not wait to see a possible collaboration with Eminem happen and that it would be another dream coming true for her.
