Guys, guys, GUYS. This is serious news. D'Angelo (aka the force behind one of the greatest R&B albums of all time) is back in the studio for the first time in 14 years and appears to be working on a new album. And we have some clips of the new material from the "Untitled" singer.

Luckily for all living, sentient beings: D'Angelo appears to be back in that funky, improv, live musicians in a studio vibe that made Voodoo so great. Check out these clips courtesy of producer Russell Elevado.

This short second clip sounds a lot like "Devil's Pie" but it is from a track called "Sugah Daddy", according to NME.

Here's a clip from a song that sounds spacey, new-wavey and nothing like Voodoo called "The Charade."

What do you think? Are you excited for the first new material from D'Angelo in 14 years?

(I'm seriously asking. I need to know if we can be friends.)

Sound off in the comments.
