With plenty of America dealing with below freezing temperatures in yet another winter freeze-fest, perhaps heading to a heated movie theater is in your weekend plans? That said, this weekend offers a pretty bleak offering in terms of new films being released. Let's take a look at some of these movies including I, Frankenstein, Gimme Shelter, and Enemies Closer!

Imagine if there was some sort of huge battle going on between gargoyles and demons that is clearly affecting the human world. Who would you want in on the battle to help end it? Did you say Frankenstein's monster? If so, you will definitely enjoy this crazy movie!

The premise behind Gimme Shelter sounds like a sure-fire idea for a movie. Based on a true story, the film follows Apple (Vanessa Hudgens), a pregnant 16-year-old homeless girl living on the streets, who is trying to survive the harsh reality that her life has turned into. Unfortunately the film has garnered plenty of bad reviews and is considered one of the worst of the year already.

Enemies Closer has been getting a good amount of high ratings and praise, even though it comes off as a B movie with a former action hero involved. Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as the film's eccentric antagonist who is terrorizing two former military men who have their own issues to work out.
