Therefore, the recent article about rapper Bow Wow getting fired from BET's popular Hip-Hop/R&B music video countdown show "106 & Park" because "he used the company credit card to pay child support" is totally FAKE!
The hoax report claims that Bow Wow "charged over $30,000 in child support to a company card he was issued for wardrobe and travel." Alleged senior accountant Roger "Payme" was not amused. So Bow Wow (real name, Shad Moss) was ultimately fired. The bogus gossip update ends with, "B.E.T. plans to air reruns until they find a suitable replacement, but expects no slip in ratings since nobody really watches 106 & Park since AJ & Free left anyway."
Sounds pretty ridiculous, but some fans fell for it anyway. So Bow Wow eventually hit up Twitter to debunk such rumors:
@YMCMB_BW: "'@HipHopture: @YMCMB_BW clear it for fans bro!!' - Clear what? That ill see yall at 6pm tomorrow live on TV like i do err day whats changed?"
@YMCMB_BW: "At @106andpark early doing my @EBONYMag photo shoot."
He also posted this hysterical video response on the official "106 & Park" Instagram account:
106andpark: "1st Justin Bieber "Riding Dirty" & then Mr. 106 gets 86'ed
