Brit singer-songwriter Dan Croll has a new album coming out soon. So, while the album opener "From Nowhere" has been enjoying alt-radio airplay for a good minute- there is now a Wes Andersonian clip to keep you interested through the US release date of April 1.

(Also, if this is your first time hearing the track, pay attention. That is what a well-executed drop can do for a song when it isn't ramped up to cartoon proportions. That surprise guitar bottoming out makes the track.)

The video focuses around a National Staring Contest and may just jostle the twee crown atop Anderson's head. However, it falls one inappropriate and naive relationship short of stealing the title.

Sweet Disarray, Croll's debut album, will drop Stateside on April 1 via Capitol.
