Justin Bieber has been inescapable these past few days. His recent boost in popularity comes after Bieb's D.U.I. arrest Thursday (Jan. 23) but due to an error in the police report, the pop star just may get off the hook.
It has been reported that Bieber's blood alcohol level recorded at the time of arrest by law enforcement officials may have been way off. At the time of the arrest, Bieber's BAC was recorded as 0.04 (the legal intoxication level is 0.08) but his actual BAC may have been 0.014.
At the scene of the crime, JB claimed that he was not in fact drunk. Sources say the stinch of alcohol on his breath may be the blame.
The Miami police team doesn't have a very credible past so it should be interesting to see how this plays out.
Either way it goes, Bieb has the support of his manager Scooter Braun. He sent out this tweet following Justin's arrest: "Been a long day. Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts. Love fully in good times and bad."
TMZ also reports that three cops in Bieber's case have been suspended without pay for reportedly giving the singer the "VIP treatment."
The site posted video of two police cruisers sandwiching Bieber's SUV as it headed towards the strip club. The Opa-Locka Police Department is currently conducting an internal investigation.
According to Vibe Magazine, the officers are suspended with pay and the investigation is ongoing.
The City Manager says he has no idea how the escort was arranged.
