As if planning his annual pre-Grammy party isn't enough work in itself, Clive Davis recently revealed his many other ventures in the works, including a new album from Whitney Houston.

Clive recently sat down with the Los Angeles Times and revealed that he is working on a project the publication called "especially close to his heart." According to Davis this posthumous Whitney Houston album will be like none other. The new album will highlight the late singer's legendary live performances.

Davis told the Times that Houston never had a live album, something he thinks is important in order to get the full effect of Whitney not only as a singer but an overall performer.

"I really want everyone to know ... exactly why during her time she was considered the greatest contemporary singer in the world," Davis told the LA Times.

The album will feature performances that not even Clive witnessed in person, including Houston's 1994 concert in South Africa.

"It's a revelation: You really hear how astonishing and powerful and compelling she was in a way that wasn't captured on the studio albums or in her movie performances," Davis said.

This should be a great album and an interesting project to put together but that isn't all the record executive is working on.

Davis revealed that he is also working on a Latin artist-duet album with Carlos Santana, a new Aretha Franklin album, as well as Jennifer Hudson's long-awaited album.

"My plate is very full," Davis said. "It's a very exciting time."
