The popular French electronic music duo Daft Punk won BIG at the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday evening (January 26). But several fans continue wondering... who are the two guys behind the mysterious masks?

For those who still don't know, introducing Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter - aka, Daft Punk.

And surprisingly, they HAVE been photographed without their infamous robot masks! Check out some of the photos here.

Pretty typical-looking, right?

In fact, they're pretty normal dudes. They even enjoy playing a game of beer pong ever now and then (but with champagne):

(This snapshot actually cause some major hype... the Twitter user quickly took it down. But not before this screen-grab, of course).

Daft Punk won ALL five awards that they were nominated for at the 56th annual Grammys. Random Access Memories snagged honors for "Album of the Year," "Best Dance/Electronica Album," and "Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical." Their hit song "Get Lucky" won "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance" and "Record of the Year."

The boys also performed alongside Stevie Wonder at the Awards Show... a VERY rare performance:

But really - what's will all the mystique?

Daft Punk once explained to Yahoo! Music:

Thomas Bangalter (gold robot): "We're interested in the line between fiction and reality, creating these fictional personas that exist in real life" - and a way to enfold Daft Punk's music within a tradition of flamboyant pop theatricality that includes "Kraftwerk and Ziggy Stardust and Kiss; people thought the helmets were marketing or something, but for us it was sci-fi glam."

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (silver robot): "We're not performers, we're not models - it would not be enjoyable for humanity to see our features... but the robots are exciting to people."

What do Mstars fans think - would it have been awesome if the duo just ripped off their masks during an acceptance speech, and acted like nothing was out-of-the-norm about it?
