"For the record, I have not been arrested five times as has been stated in the media, nor am I guilty of physically assaulting anyone, in any way shape or form," she adds. "I am a full-time student who had enjoyed a normal lifestyle, free from public scrutiny and criticism, until now. What has happened to me is wrong. I want people in general, and the media in particular, to consider the impact their disparaging comments have on the individual; especially when their comments are inaccurate."

Jefferies admitted on her Twitter account that she considered speaking with the Today Show to clear her name: "talk not about Justin, about false allegations against me only."

"I would never 'sell my story,'" she tweetedadding, "It's a hard thing, knowing who to truly trust."

MStars News previously reported:

Justin Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallete asked for his fans to pray for him before he was arrested for a DUI in Miami.

Police witnessed the singer allegedly drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini against a Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach. According to CNN, police spokesman Bobby Hernandez revealed that the "Baby" singer- who just faced a drug raid in his California mansion- showed "signs of impairment" and later failed a field sobriety test.

Hernandez added, "[Two SUVs] actually blocked the traffic at 26th and Pine Street so that they could race on Pine Street, almost making it like a makeshift race track."

Mallete previously asked fans for prayer because the singer's fame was taking control of his life,  "I think so many people go into the entertainment industry with amazing Christian roots, and get influenced somehow," she told Britain's The Sun. His mother added, "If Justin's struggling, don't kick him when he's down or condemn him -  pray for him."

Both Bieber and the Ferrari driver were arrested on drunken driving charges.
