Beyonce and Katy Perry are still getting heat over their raunchy Grammy performance that left Christian music star Natalie Grant uncomfortable and later ditching the Grammys earlier than she would have liked.
Grant was up for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance for "Alive (Mary Magdelene)," and Best Christian Music Song for "Hurricane," which she says she was honored, but believes the Grammy's night performances has her believing that Christian music is the right choice.
"We left the Grammy's early. I've many thoughts about the show tonight, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I'll say this: I've never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I've never been more sure of the path I've chosen," she said on her Facebook page.
Previously, Beyonce's "Beyhive" attacked a British newspaper after they called Beyonce a "Whore" for her "Drunk In Love" performance with husband Jay Z at the Grammys Sunday night.
The article written by Andrei Harmsworth for Metro UK wrote about parents reactions to Beyonce's twerk and leg spreading behavior while performing her erotic song, but as simple as the article seemed, the title: "'Whore' Beyonce angers parents with raunchy act" angered Beyonce stans across the world.
Harmsworth reported seeing Facebook posts from parents slamming Beyonce's opening act writing that viewer Mandy Flores wrote: "Aren't u a mother now!!? Thought u had class, how trashy and I couldn't even let my 8 year old watch. U have never done anything like that! So disappointed."
Harmsworth compared Beyonce to Miley Cyrus's MTV VMAs twerk fest saying, "The 17-time Grammy winner certainly wasn't backward in coming forward when she then took inspiration from raunch bag Miley Cyrus and humped her tush up against her hubby Jay Z after he joined her on stage."
Was Beyonce and Katy Perry's performances that bad?
