An employee at a Pittsburgh area McDonald's has pretty much redefined the term "Happy Meal" after a new police report shed some light on an apparent drug operation running out of the fast food restaurant. According to reports, a woman was dealing heroin to customers by hiding the drugs in "Happy Meals" after being told the secret code: "I'd like to order a toy."
CNN reports:
A McDonald's employee in Pittsburgh was arrested Wednesday after undercover police officers said they discovered her selling heroin in Happy Meal boxes, according to a criminal complaint. Shantia Dennis, 26, was arrested after undercover law enforcement officials conducted a drug buy, according to a statement from Mike Manko, communications director for the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office.
According to Manko, customers would go through the drive-thru, say the code for heroin, and then receive the drugs in a "Happy Meal" box after pulling up to the service window. When the undercover officers were handed the drugs, they immediately arrested Dennis. The officers received 10 stamp bags of heroin and found 50 additional bags of heroin on Dennis' person.
"Dennis is charged with two counts of possession, one count of criminal use of a communication facility, one count of prohibited acts of delivery and one count of possession with intent to deliver," CNN stated.
