This week, Discovery ID aired an episode of Frenemies that reenacted and portrayed rapper, Remy Ma and her friendship with Makeda Barnes-Joseph.
The two women who were once best friends, would soon hit rock bottom when Remy Ma shoots Joseph over a dispute about money. Remy Ma's actions landed her in jail for eight years.
One source is speaking out about this story, and coming to the rapper's defense. Papoose, Remy Ma's lover, is stating that the show wrongfully portrayed the whole situation, especially the relationship he had with the rapper.
Papoose is speaking out on Instagram about his relationship and says the friend's betrayal, made the network greedy for money. The network tweeted about the episode on Twitter, and it seems that Papoose thinks their records and story is a "lie."
The caption along with the photo read.
“That fake story on the ID channel about #TheQueen @freeremyma and myself is totally #false #thingspeopledoformoney Television (Tell Lie Vision),” captioned Papoose.
