Shakira Pregnant? Singer Hides Belly in Latest Video Shoot Photo

Shakira hid her belly in a picture she posted on Saturday on the web as rumors that the sexy Colombian singer is pregnant are heating up.

The picture featuring Shakira -only from the waist up- raised questions on whether she was hiding her belly.

"From yesterday's video shoot...coming soon," she wrote on her Whosay.com website alongside the image.

On Friday, Shakira's father seemed to confirm the pregnancy but later he retracted.

"I've heard from the press that some media confirmed the supposedly pregnancy of my daughter, that is absolutely false," he told in a statement to news agency Efe.

"I want to reaffirm, as I did in my recent interview, that I hope that happens soon because it will make us all happy. I have never said something different nor I have confirmed it."

The rumors increased when Colombian magazine Gente featured a cover story about Shakira being six weeks pregnant with Gerard Piqué's baby.

"The baby is due in early 2013. The couple found out the news while they were in Ibiza. So far there are no plans for a wedding," the magazine claimed.

The magazine said Shakira is waiting for the right moment to make the news public.

"Everything was planned. The baby will be born at the beginning of next year. This would be the first priority for the singer. At 35 years old, she thought she was missing the time to become a mom," the magazine said.
