MStars has learned that a man was found sitting in a car with a loaded rifle, a machete, and a container of gasoline on Friday in New York has been arrested.

According to TMZ, authorities are saying that Benjamin Smith, 44, was planning to kill former President George W. Bush. The Secret Service has taken Smith into custody and charged him with threatening to kill the former Commander in Chief.

Reports are saying that Smith's mother called police on Thursday, Jan. 30 reporting a missing rifle that belonged to her, and that her son had left a letter behind saying,  "I'm going to work for George W. Bush and the Pentagon. I have to slay a dragon and then Barbara Bush is mine."

A prosecuting attorney handling the case, says she thinks that Smith was talking about one of Bush's daughters not the former First Lady, Barbara Bush in the letter.

Bush, and his family were in NYC at the time of the threat, and it is unknown just how close Smith was to finding the family. The unstable suspect allegedly yelled, "Bush will get his" as he was hauled off into custody.

A lawyer for Smith stated that the letter, and outbursts do not recommend that this was a "true threat."
