One Direction is poised to make its first $1 billion this year after the success of its third studio album, Midnight Memories, and a worldwide stadium tour entitled "Where We Are" taking up most of 2014. That sounds great, right? Well according to a few industry experts, the boys could be burning out with all of this attention and such a busy schedule!

Citing their busy schedules and all of the drama they face in the media, some experts are saying Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan could end up another statistic of the music industry.

"They may be young and full of energy but they will still have to pace themselves and occasionally step off the rollercoaster for a break. Otherwise they will burn out," Hollywood media analyst Mike Raia said. "One Direction are being touted here as The Beatles of their generation. That's one mighty heavy load to bear. There is a definite risk of burn-out unless they are allowed some time off to let off steam. It would be heart-rending to see them fall apart."

Though you might not trust the words of an analyst you've never heard of, Bee-Gees member Barry Gibb agrees with the statement above.

"I'd tell all new acts to take their time. I've seen bands like One Direction doing five interviews before a show - there's no need for it. Just relax, take a step back and get to know yourself," he said, according to The Standard. "You've got to know yourself as an artist but a lot of the record labels aren't giving acts the time to do that."

Do you think these claims are true and that One Direction might burn out in the near future?
