Legendary R&B great Charlie Wilson, also known as "Uncle Charlie," was also on the red carpet at the 56th annual Grammys on Sunday, Jan. 26.
He spoke with MStars reporter Star Connor about presenting the Rock category award, and what he has in store for 2014. Wilson was excited to be presenting the Rock category at the Grammys the R&B singer said, "all those artists I know, Paul McCartney, Gary Clark Junior, it's so many, and it's a great category."
Uncle Charlie said this year he was going to "start working in about a month or two on a new record. It's going to be fun, its going to be good, and this time it will be loaded with some great nephew friends of mine."
Wilson is one of the most anticipated performances fans expect to see every year at the Essence Music Festival, and this year it will be no different. He told MStars "I will be at Essence Sunday night this year."
