Franz Ferdinand are cowing to years' worth of shouting a-hole's frustrations and playing a set list made entirely of fan requests for their set at the BBC Radio 6 Music festival.

Fans can choose from 15 tracks over at the festival's website. The top six vote-getters will be played during their set.

"We've never let the fans choose the setlist before. It wasn't my idea. Could be a total disaster. Could be amazing. Let's find out," lead singer Alex Kapranos said in a statement.

Franz Ferdinand recently released their fourth studio album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action.

Kapranos recently recanted an opinion that the Pharrell-produced Paloma Faith track "Can't Rely On You." Though, you have to admit that the riff sounds familiar.
