Nas 'Illmatic' gets 20th anniversary reissue

Nas' classic album Illmatic is getting a reissue featuring a bunch of brand new remixes. Hey, Nasir has to keep the "one hot album every ten years" streak, alive.

The IllmaticXX will feature the ten original tracks plus eight remixes and two unreleased cuts, similar to what Nas did on the album's 10th anniversary.

Last we heard from Nas, he was working on an album helmed by DJ Premier. Though that may be pushed aside as Nasty is planning a tour where he performs Illmatic in full every night and a documentary covering the making of his unimpeachable hip-hop classic.
