Budweiser not attending the 2014 Olympics games in Sochi, terrorist threats to blame?

MStars has learned that there will be no Budweiser at the Olympic games in Sochi. According to TMZ Budweiser has decided to miss out on its traditional Winter Olympic bash this year, due to the fact of the terror issues in Russia.

The beer company is well known for hosting major parties for the Olympics including the Club Bud bash in 2010 at the games in Vancouver, and in Turin at the 2006 games.

The site reveals that Budweiser is taking a seat and deciding not to move forth with any plans to go to Russia for now. TMZ is claiming that an email from a Budweiser rep stated that the company did not want the U.S. based representatives in Sochi due to high terrorist threats.

A rep for Anheuser-Busch did confirm that there will be no Club Bud at the 2014 Winter Olympic games in Sochi but did not state the reason why. It has been reported highly across the news, that Russia is on a high terrorist attack alert, and that toothpaste on planes is being the target weapon of choice.
