One of Paul Walker's final films is a remake of the French film district B13, entitled Brick Mansions from Relativity. Unlike Fast and Furious 7, this project had completed filming and was waiting for an official release date. Now we have it. You can see one of the beloved actor's final movies on April 25, 2014, which costars RZA and Catalina Denis.
Set in Detroit in a dystopian future, we see Walker portraying an undercover cop ordered to infiltrate a notorious tenement for which the film is titled. His orders are to get in there and disarm a neutron bomb that is getting closer and closer to detonation. This race against time is clearly in Walker's wheelhouse so it'll be very nice to see the star in an exciting role one last time.
The Hollywood Reporter broke this news, reporting:
Walker died Nov. 30, 2013, when the Porsche Carrera GT he was riding in hit a pole and burst into flames. He wrapped Mansions in July 2013. At the time of his death, shooting on the seventh installment of Fast & Furious was only half completed and he two other projects that were supposed to shoot this year on his slate. According to Relativity, the company and EuropaCorp will make a donation, including the cost of the film's world premiere, to Walker's charity Reach Out WorldWide. ROWW works with first responders around the world for disaster relief.
