Miley Cyrus says 'Bangerz' tour will be "educational"

The Bangerz tour, Miley Cyrus' first jaunt after her zeitgeist-manipulating string of awards show performances and music videos, is guaranteed to be a lot of.things. Sexy? Probably. Fun? Most definitely. Educational? Apparently?

That's the latest line from Miley herself. 

"Even though parents probably won't think this, I think my show is educational for kids," Cyrus told Fuse. "They're going to be exposed to art most people don't know about. People are taught to look at things so black and white, especially in small towns. I'm excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn't be accepted, where kids wouldn't learn about this different kind of art."

Miley also seems to want the kids to take a bit of Bangerz home with them.

"I want to give my fans real things they can collect. I'm a little bit of a hoarder. It's my mom's worst nightmare. I hope my fans become hoarders also. I'm giving a lot of junk away... I'll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table," she said.

Who knows? Maybe Miley will open kids up to new art forms that they'd never heard of before. But we probably shouldn't expect Schoolhouse Rock from someone wearing this.
