Little Mix's Perrie Edwards admits One Direction fiance Zayn Malik isn't interested in planning their dream wedding [VIDEO]

Love was in the air when Zayn Malik of One Direction proposed to his girlfriend Perrie Edwards in August of 2013, but the Little Mix songstress admits her fiancé isn't too keen on planning the actual wedding! Though you might think that his busy schedule is the reasoning behind this stance, Perrie says that Zayn just isn't into the idea and wants her to make sure she has the wedding of her dreams.

During an interview with MTV, Perrie's engagement came up and she was asked about the most exciting thing about it.

"The rock...isn't that the best part? When everyone is like 'Wow'," the comical Perrie joked. "No I was joking ... just knowing that I'm going to be with someone that I love forever."

Considering these are two huge pop stars, we're all expecting a lavish wedding with plenty to talk about, but Zayn wouldn't be the one to ask about any details. The singer insists that she'll get him involved, though.

"Well, he tried to get out of it," Perrie said when asked about Zayn helping her plan the wedding. "He said, 'You know what? The wedding, it's all about the lady.' He went, 'Honestly, it's your day. You're the princess. You go all out and then just let me know what you want.'

She added: "I went 'You're not getting out of it that easy, love.' I went, 'You're planning it with us, thank you very much.' He thought he was clever, but no, I'm one step ahead."
