Mstars is happy to announce the official grand opening of SLAKE - a new music venue and nightclub that promises to bring some of the best events and parties to New York City.
Several renowned individuals within the industry will celebrate the arrival of SLAKE on Thursday evening (Feb. 13). Concerts officially start up again on Saturday (Feb. 15) with performances by Shinobi Ninja, El Gant, Gobi, Sunny Gang, and Brittany Campbell (among several more). Check out SLAKE's full schedule of events here.
Fans of NYC's legendary music/dance venue Webster Hall will likely enjoy SLAKE, since both were founded by the same masterminds over at WHEG. Here's a brief promo from Big Picture Media:
Reminiscent of a time in New York before corporate banks and frozen yogurt shops littered each block, SLAKE is a sexy and mysterious labyrinth of twisting hallways, staircases, and wide-open dance floors. The venue boasts 4 unique rooms spread across 3 maze-like levels. It is capable of hosting an intimate party for 75, a live concert for 500, or a multi-level gathering for 1000.
Once inside, patrons are free to explore the expansive space. They will find an eclectic balance of industrial design, cozy décor, and massive installations from world-renowned artists. Each room is equipped with state of the art sound and light systems. At SLAKE, human interaction is of highest importance. SLAKE is an intimate place of expression, free of judgment, built for those who wish to escape from the mundane and immerse themselves in the sound of the underground.
For more info, check out SLAKE's official website.
SLAKE will likely draw a young adult crowd, but offers a true sense of class and sophistication with its beautiful layout and eccentric vibe.
