That's just wrong.

Apparently during a recent breast self-exam, DeGeneres discovered a "suspicious lump." An alleged magazine "insider" reveals, "Ellen went into an emotional tailspin recently after she detected a lump in one of her breasts."

Now, the beloved "Ellen DeGeneres Show" host is allegedly "terrified that her life will be cut short by deadly breast cancer."

The source adds this emotional comment - "She dissolved in tears and sobbed to Portia, 'I'm so scared.'"

But get this. The insider eventually reveals, "In the end, the lump turned out to be benign, but Ellen is at her wits' end, fearing it's only a matter of time before cancer takes her out."

What a horrible situation for the Enquirer to report on so sensationally! Gossip Cop spoke with a "legit" source, who insists that such rumors are total "nonsense." DeGeneres' health is just fine - and so is her marriage.
