Did Niall Horan and girlfriend Barbara Palvin break up right before Valentine's Day?

It's hard to believe that a member of One Direction could be spending Valentine's Day alone, but that just might be the case for Irish heartthrob Niall Horan. According to new reports, Niall and his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend, Barbara Palvin, have called it quits! Sources say the two spent too much time apart and the distance was too much to handle for the young couple.

It's always sad to hear about Niall's relationships falling apart. Remember Zoe Whelan? Or perhaps his short fling with pop star Ellie Goulding? Though we're not too sure about the latter, we do know that Niall's busy schedule has always factored into his romances coming to an end. It looks like dating a high profile, in-demand super model turned out to be too much of a hassle for the pop singer.

"There was no big fall out - things just fizzled out as they are working in different parts of the world," an insider explained to The Sun. "They are both really busy but are still in touch and friendly."

With Niall out of the picture, Barbara might have already moved on! In a new Instagram post this week, the model was pictured receiving a kiss from a mystery man with the caption "Early Valentine!"
