Kendrick Lamar performs at NBA All-Star Weekend [WATCH]

Let it never be said that Kendrick Lamar hasn't put in work to gain his current starpower. On top of releasing the insta-classic good kid, m.A.A.d. city, Lamar has been an absolute workhorse when it comes to touring.The Compton MC has already turned in a solo tour, an opening slot on the Yeezus tour, a show-stopping performance at the Grammys and a follow-up on SNL. Now, Lamar is busy rocking the Smoothie King arena in New Orleans during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

It seems Lamar is taking the rock edge of his performance with Imagine Dragons to heart. He performed heavy renditions of "m.A.A.d. city" and "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" in between the 3-point shootout and the slam dunk contest.

Lamar was followed up by Vanilla Ice, who interuppted the dunk contest to perform a rendition of "Ice Ice Baby."
