Atlanta rapper Young Thug officially signs with Cash Money Records

The YMCMB family just keeps growing and Atlanta rapper Young Thug is the latest recruit.

Rumors began to swirl that the rapper may have signed to the label since he's been rocking a lot of Cash Money merchandise. He even tweeted "RichGang....YMCMB family", which spread the rumors of his signing like rapid fire.

Even with all of the subliminal indicators, nothing was made official. Birdman was pretty tight lipped about the deal, too.

But it looks like Thugga can only hold water for so long. The "Stoner" and "Danny Glover" rapper accompanied Birdman to New Orleans for All-Star Weekend and the two were spotted just before entering a nightclub.

Before entering the club, a reporter from Mass Appeal stopped Thugga and popped the million dollar question: "Are you signed to YMCMB?"

His response: "Yeah. I signed."

In an interview with The Fader, Young Thug expressed his admiration for now label mate Lil Wayne.

 "That's my idol," he said. "Everything he do."

Young Thug also has close ties to Gucci Mane, as he worked with him as a 1017 Brick Squad Records signee.

"If Gucci Mane said f**k you," Young Thug said, "you need to please know that Young Thug says f**k you, too."

Guess Nicki Minaj's remix of "Danny Glover" should have been an indicator of what was going on. Nonetheless, congrats to Young Thug.
