Paris Hilton Was Pretty in Pink for Her Birthday

Socialite Paris Hilton took to her Twitter account to show off her birthday gown. Designed by Alon Livne, a winner of the Israeli version of Project Runway, the dress was off the runway and onto Hilton. Celebrated a day before her birthday (Feb, 17), the celebutante had her party at the Greystone Manor Supperclub in West Hollywood.

"Yes! I know! My dress has a very high cut slit! And that's because it's a dress straight off the runway! I saw it in my friend @AlonLivne's #NYFW fashion show & I just knew it would be the perfect #Birthday dress! Loves it! #CoutureRunwayBarbie," Hilton tweeted.

A few days prior to Hilton's birthday, Livne tweeted another photo of Hilton in another of his designs. He said "Paris Hilton in spring summer 14 blue dress @parishilton."

Besides being the heiress to the Hilton family fortune, Paris has starred in a Fox reality television series The Simple Life, had a role in the horror film House of Wax, and a few reality shows based on contestants competing for a chance to be her new best friend.

Hilton first made headlines in 2003 when her sex tape with then-boyfriend Rick Solomon leaked. In 2006, she was arrested for driving under the influence. The judge of her case sentenced her to three years probation. A few months following her sentence, Hilton was found in violation of her probation and sentenced to 45 days in prison.
