Star Wars Rebels has been gaining a lot of steam lately, and this week we have some great new teaser trailers for the upcoming animated series to get fans even more excited. The DisneyXD adventure series will hold of over until the release of Episode VII, but it will also introduce us to new storylines and characters from a long time ago that is still familiar to fans of the series.

Here is a synopsis of the upcoming DisneyXD animated series:

Star Wars Rebels takes place between Star Wars: Episode III and IV as the Empire tightens its grip on the galaxy and a rebellion begins to form. The series, executive produced by Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman, is scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel and will be followed by a series on Disney XD.

The new teaser clips we have for you this week are short but sweet and full of great new footage for the upcoming series.

"To ignite a rebellion, all it takes is a single spark," says the ominous voice introducing our first teaser clip entitled "Spark." New character Ezra is the focus of both teasers, but we also get to see "a striking, orange, familiar-looking insignia..."
