Rumors started swirling online that the two ladies were actually dating. Then, a shady report posted by The Mirror allegedly "confirmed" the romantic relationship.

Apparently, Rodriguez "went on the record" and told the infamous gossip webloid:

"It's going really well. She's so cool. When we started hanging out I just thought she was awesome, and we have the best time together... She's hard though. You wouldn't want to mess with her in a fight."

She then explained why Delevinge didn't show up as her "date" to a recent event in NYC:

"Cara's at her own fashion week party tonight, so doing her own thing."  

But here's the thing... Rodriguez NEVER spoke to The Mirror!

Still, the rumors still managed to explode online.

A "legit" rep for Rodriguez told Gossip Cop that the actress "never gave an interview" - the quotes were fabricated.

The two ladies have been spending a lot of quality time together, but NOT romantically. Sorry, guys.
