‘RHONJ’ sad news; Melissa Gorga Reveals Her Aunt lost her battle with cancer

MStars has learned the sad details about Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga's aunt, who died from cancer a week ago.

“We are saying goodbye to her today. Forever in our hearts,” Gorga revealed on Twitter on Feb. 19.

According to RadarOnline, the reality star's aunt started chemotherapy earlier this month after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

“She’s really close to her,” a source close to Gorga revealed. “It’s sad.”

She wrote on Instagram along with this photo: " My precious aunt lost her short battle with cancer. My heart hurts. But I know my family now has another guardian angel. #curecancer"

This photo said: "My mother (Donna), her sis (angel), & my dad's Sis (Louella) we are saying goodbye to her today. Forever in our hearts️ #3peasinapod "

The reality star also tweeted.

Gorga posted photos of her aunt, and thanked her fans, and supporters saying: "Can’t thank you enough for all your thoughts and prayers,” she said.

“You are truly such compassionate beautiful people. Xo.”
