Is Premier League Star Nemanja Vidic Close to Joining Inter Milan?

Manchester United's central defender Nemanja Vidic has been one of the very best players in the Premier League during the last decade, but recently he admitted he would not sign a new to deal to remain at his current club, nor would he join a rival club, so what's next for him? The latest hear say suggests he is close to agreeing a deal to move to Italian side Inter Milan in the summer.

The Serbian international has been a defensive rock, so it makes sense that he'd like to test himself in the league primarily known for a defense first league. Manchester United are in the middle of their rebuilding plan, so it makes sense for the veteran defender to leave now, however his new team are a little further in their rebuilding plan, and Vidic's presence could help polish off an already impressive team.

Vidic is powerful, strong and able to bring a great defensive effort to the team, as well as the occasional goal, but he does however have the common problem of getting injured and sent off, which he may find troubling in the tough natured league Italy plays in. It should be a matter of days before Vidic reveals his plan, but first he will be focusing on finishing the season in style with his struggling United team. Once the Serbian leaves United will need to find a way to push through their younger talent, while replacing his vital experience and leadership, but can it be done?
