Lana Del Rey fans have even more reason to be excited for her upcoming album Ultraviolence. The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach is a producer on the latest from the "Video Games" singer.

Auerbach has produced albums for Bombino, JEFF The Brotherhood and Dr. John, and he even has a Grammy for his production work on El Camino. However, his garage-y love of lo-fi sound is just about the exact opposite of LDR's output thus far. So it should be interesting to see how Ultraviolence turns out.
Also, it should be noted (via Pitchfork), that Auerbach has apparently put his resentment of the corporate-ness of LDR to bed.
"On some level, we've seen that Lana Del Rey thing since we first started, like, all of a sudden this new band would be headlining festivals, and we're like, 'Wait, how did they get that? We've been here for two, three, four, five years and we're still working our way up. But then they're gone. Just as quickly as they get up there, they disappear," he said in 2012.
And now they're partners. Ain't life funny?
Ultraviolence might come out May 1, but no release date has been confirmed.
