Russell Simmons shuts down Kimora Lee and Birdman rumors, says his ex-wife has remarried

Rumors have been swirling that Kimora Lee and Birdman are an item but Lee's ex-hubby Russell Simmons has come forward to put those chitchats to rest.

It all started when the Cash Money CEO posted a photo of himself and Lee on Instagram with a pretty interesting caption.

The caption read:  "S/O @officialkimora luv of my life Thanku 4everythang u did and do 4′me RICHGIRL RICHGANG."

Lee and Birdman were linked last year after she starred in Rich Gang's "Tapout' music video.

The caption of the photo was pretty much left up to the public's interpretation and even Wendy Williams chimed in.

But in an interesting plot twist, Lee's former husband Simmons has decided to put in his two cents and apparently while everyone was trying to figure out the nature of Lee and Birdman's relationship, she had another plan of her own. She was exchanging vows with her investment banker Tim Leissner.

Here's what Simmons had to say via Twitter:

"All of us love @OfficialKimora but the fact is she is happily married. Tim is (sic) has been family for a while now. #gossipcop.... Oh. And.. Tim is not Russian. Lol."

Simmons made it clear as day that Lee is off the market, no misinterpretation there.

Lee is a mother of three. She has two daughters with Simmons, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee. She also has a son with famous actor Djimon Hounsou. He is notably known for his role in Amistad.
