Breezy's back! After extending his stint in rehab Chris Brown has officially announced the new release date for his highly-anticipated forthcoming album X.

The 'Fine China' crooner recently took to Twitter to announce that his album is slated to be released on his 25th birthday, May 5. This will be his sixth studio album and we can expect some greatness.

Breezy says X will be his "best album yet."

He sent out this tweet on Saturday (Feb. 22):

"X is by far my best album yet.... Setting the date for MAY 5"

The album was originally set to be released last summer but was pushed back several times. Brown has since released three singles: "Fine China," "Don't Think They Know" featuring the late Aaliyah and "Love More" featuring Nicki Minaj.

Last year, Brown tweeted that X would be his last album and from previous interviews, like the one with Billboard, Brown is taking a different route with this album.

Vibe Magazine reports that X is expected to incorporate more R&B influences than his past albums.

"I wanted to touch musically on Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke, and incorporate those influences with the new," he said.

The album will include production from heavyweights like Timabaland, Diplo, Danja and Drumma Boy.

Are you excited to hear new music from Chris Brown? Will you buy his new album? Do you think he will really retire?
