Lucy Hale of "Pretty Little Liars" has signed with Hollywood Records to produce a music album, according to MTV. The talented actress will soon join label mates Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus, but with a completely different sound. She's going country!
Hollywood Record's Ken Bunt had first heard her sing when she played a singer in the movie "Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song." When Hale was approached by Bunt, she told him that she wanted to make a country/pop album.
"I grew up in Tennessee, so that's always been my heart and soul. It's hard to come across a true country fan in L.A., but it's true that the fans are so loyal, once you're in their circle, you're in for your entire career. It just really speaks to me. Country music has so much soul and is so heartfelt. I think it's a perfect fit for me. I think it will surprise people," said Hale to MTV.
Hale looks up to Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood and compared her desired sound to a blend of the two country music stars.
