As is so often the case with Miley Cyrus, her antics have outshined her music (which is a shame because, as per the usual, the music is incredible). While you may have read that Miley kissed Katy Perry during her Los Angeles Bangerz stop, you may not have heard that she absolutely killed two covers. The "Wrecking Ball" singer covered the Flaming Lips; "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Pt. 1" with Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd.
"I hope I could inspire you guys as much as the Flaming Lips have inspired me and encouraged me to always be myself and to make music because I love it," Cyrus told the crowd before bringing out the Lips members.
It's awesome to watch Miley nerd out over her favorite musicians. Miley also turned OutKast's world-uniting track "Hey Ya!" into a tender, country track with a mournful chorus that somehow worked. Seriously, it's worth a watch.
Miley is only on stop four of her world tour. You might as well submit to the idea of constant coverage now.
