Soundgarden to release 5-disc 20th Anniversary edition of 'Superunknown'

In case you aren't feeling old enough today, you should know that Soundgarden is planning a deluxe 20th anniversary release of Superunknown. That's right, perhaps the seminal Seattle album is just about old enough to drink.

Superunknown will be re-released as a five-disc "Super Deluxe" CD set containing rarities, B-sides, rehearsals, a book and the album itself in high-quality audio. There's also a streamlined two-disc Deluxe version and a double LP version that will be pressed on 200 gram vinyl.

The band celebrated the news by revealing one of the rehearsal tracks.

In addition, Soundgarden will release a Record Store Day exclusive 10" box set of all the album's singles.
