Salon probably has its thinkpieces on deck because Lena Dunham is set to host Saturday Night Live on March 8.
The Girls showrunner tweeted the news earlier today.

Dunham will host while The National serves as musical guest. They might as well bring Daniel Day-Lewis on for a millenial-targeted bit of method acting called There Will Be Wine.
Both Dunham and The National seem to be game for a laugh, especially if it's at their own expense. In other words, dis gun be good.
Still no word on that Scandal cameo though.
