We thought LeBron James has done it all on an NBA court, but we were wrong. In last nights encounter he rose to superhero status, and delivered devastating consequences to his victim, the New York Knicks. LeBron, who recently broke his nose, was forced to wear a protective mask in this game, but it certainly didn't change anything but his appearance.

LeBron scored 31 points as the Heat hammered the Knicks 108-82. When talking to CNNSI LeBron said "''I tried to put pressure on the defense, tried to make plays and I was happy to be back on the floor,'' The star was tipped to miss a couple of games, but only missed one, showing his bounce back ability covers his injuries as well as others aspects of his character.

Did the mask impair his vision? Not so, he made 13 of 19 shots, and continued the fantastic form he's been on currently. The mask will remain for a few weeks at least. Better safe than sorry, right? Sadly for the NBA players, they're going to have to realize it'll take more than a broken nose and a protective mask to hold the games greatest current player back.

Does LeBron like the mask? He continued saying "As much as I don't like it, I have to figure out how to make it work,'' James did not have to do everything though, as his sidekick, Dwyane Wade added 23 points. Chris Bosh stated the obvious when he said "''He played like Batman,'' Perhaps we have found the reason for his on the court heroics, perhaps he is indeed a superhero.

Whether or not he keeps the mask for long, it appears he will be a favourite to lift his third NBA championship this summer.
