Thanks to some stellar charities, arts education is being brought to children in schools lacking resources. Organizations such as Music Unites find creative ways to bring attention and funding to this cause at the height of awards season.

Music Unites has provided music education program for youth living in cities, and brought musicians to play venues where they act as role models to the children. The kids even have a chance to perform in front of audiences, in turn.

Supporters of this non-profit are as diverse as Sting and the United Nations to OK! Magazine, the famed celebrity magazine that recently hosted the star-studded evening, with Music Unites at the center.

The mantra for OK! Magazine pre-Oscar party on Thursday, February 27th was (loosely): The glitzier the event, the more light that can shine on a good cause. Though you did have to look a bit closer to actually see the nods to Music Unites.

CIROC served up specialty cocktails (the vodka company who took part in one of the most cleverly-named charity events of this past December: "Ciroc the Block Charity Bowling Event"). There were also tons of pop-up stations where companies could support the cause and pamper attendees at the same time. Rock Your Hair hosted styling stations, DSW gifted guests with shoes, and even the bathrooms were tricked out.

The special musical guest was DJ Havana Brown, who you know from club classics such as "We Run The Night," featuring Pit Bull.

In attendance at the Greystone Manor in West Hollywood were stars of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, including Cheryl Burke. There were many a 'Real Housewife' -- Orange County and Beverly Hills. Additionally, a slew of celebrities from Carmen Electra to Christina Milian.

All in all, the over-the-top night helped get the word out there about Music Unites.
