CM Punk's abrupt exit from WWE continues to be one of the biggest stories in wrestling, and the interest remains high thanks to the company's impending stop at the Allstate Arena just outside of Chicago for Monday Night Raw in mere days.

Punk made one of his first public appearances since his departure when he attended the UFC 170 pay-per-view in Las Vegas last Saturday. PWInsider.com reports that those who spoke to the Best in the World at the event noted he would not commit one way or the other about his status with WWE and that he discussed the entire matter as if it were behind him.

Furthermore, no one within WWE expects Punk to appear on Raw in Chicago, Punk's hometown, on Monday. No one in the locker room during the latest Raw in Green Bay discussed the thought of seeing Punk during the broadcast from Chicago.

Fans have been expecting an extremely hostile crowd when Raw rolls into town on Monday, as some anticipate what would amount to a three-hour long "CM Punk" chant. The question has been how much the crowd would be a concern to WWE officials, and some reports have stated the company is well aware of what it is walking into in Chicago. Two updates from the company seem to lend credence to that theory.

WWE has announced that Brock Lesnar will confront the Undertaker live on Raw next week after the two made their match at WrestleMania 30 earlier this week. The Undertaker came out to confront Lesnar, who had an open contract to fight anyone he wanted (except for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship) at the event.

Furthermore, Triple H made the official announcement during the Friday Night Smackdown tapings this week that The Shield and The Wyatt Family will face off in a rematch from Elimination Chamber.

The company also revealed on Raw this week that Aaron Paul, who famously played Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad and who stars in the upcoming movie Need for Speed, will be the guest host of Raw at the Allstate Arena.
