TDE bears all with Billboard for their cover story and head honco Anthony Tiffith hinted that Kendrick Lamar may be releasing an album in September.
The label already has a win with the success of Schoolboy Q's Oxymoron and they only plan for bigger and better things.
While talking with Billboard, Tiffith revealed that the label plans to continue the momentum by releasing projects by Isaiah Rashad, SZA, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul, in addition to K Dot's highly anticipated second studio LP.
Billboard reports:
"In 2014, TDE hopes to lock and load its most ambitious slate of releases: Rashad and the label's first nonrap signing, New Jersey-based female singer-songwriter SZA, will be coming with albums, as will original team members Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. Meanwhile, Free thinks the long-awaited debut from Black Hippy - the supergroup featuring Lamar, Q, Rock and Ab-Soul - is likely to appear in 2014; Tiffith indicates that TDE is planning to release a new Lamar album this coming September, too."
Back in December, MStars reported Tiffith sending out this tweet:
"We ran 2013 without dropping 1 album. I wonder wuts gone happen in 2014 when I drop 6. They not ready 4 this."
At that time, MStars also reported that K Dot may have already started working on his follow-up to GKMC as a photo of Kendrick Lamar and legendary producer Alchemist in the studio began floating around the internet.
Can't wait to hear what he's been working on. GKMC is a hard act to follow.
