Sunny Day Real Estate will release first new music in 14 years on Record Store Day

April 19 will be a great day to hop up out the bed and turn your sad on. Sunny Day Real Estate are releasing their first new music in 14 years on Record Store Day.

The influential emo rockers are releasing a split 7" with Circa Survive. Their track "Lipton Witch" will be the first bit of new music from the Diary band since The Rising Tide. The band has broken up twice since releasing their stone-cold classic Diary in 1994, last reforming to play some European tour dates in 2009.

To get hyped (sort of), here's the band's much-lauded classic:
