Shakira reveals new album details

Shakira has revealed details surrounding her new self-titled album to Latina magazine.

The singer nabbed the cover of the magazine and revealed why her album has such ecclectic influences inside.

"I will always be a little bit of everything. There was a lot of fighting with myself about what direction I wanted to go, she said. "Throughout the process there were songs that I used to love at that moment and then hated a few minutes later." 

Shakira also talked about her Spanish language album and the connection she feels with her Hispanic fans.

"The relationship I have with my Hispanic fans is very deep and intricate," she said. "It's like a 20-year marriage, but with a lot of passion, with a lot of sex. There's mutual understanding and trust."
